Dear Friends:
 
        I went to see Eraserhead last night and the State
fucks up and I get stuck watching "Glen or Glenda," an
almost incomprehensible movie on transvestites.  Bela 
Lugosi was in it but didn't make any sense.  I mean, you'd
cut from a scene of a transvestite looking at a department
store window to Bela sitting in a chair in a "laboratory"
(if you consider one rack of test tubes and an unlit 
bunsen burner a "lab") where he'd mumble "Snakes und snails
und PAWPY dawg taels!!" and then you'd cut to this fantasy
scene were the trans. was being pointed at by a bunch of
unexplained clean cut fifties folks and this ludicrous
Satan who had stupid pointed eyebrows instead of horns and
pointlessly cutting back and forth to some some Doctor who
kept reassuring us that transvestitism was not homosexuality
and then cut to more scenes of homosexuals picking up people
on sleazy streets under street-lamps and on and on.
