I would like to announce that I have accepted an offer
to work for the CDC advanced development group in Minnesota
over the summer.  I'll be leaving in about two weeks and
will return at the beginning of September.

Dear Dan:
 
        Well, hotsy totsy for you!  Mr. Big time computer
programmer, go ahead, go to Minnesota and leave us here!
Jeez, weren't we nice enough for you?  I mean, really!
        Honestly, Dan, this kind of behavior!  Why, I was
just talking with your mother and she said, "Oh, Dan was
such a nice boy before he started hanging out with those
punks at the Pizza Hut"  and how she had such high hopes 
for you becoming a Communications Major or Humor writer of
something honest but no, you turned out the rotten apple
of her bunch, oh my, well, go ahead!
